Deployment of the Institute of Innovation in Eletrical Systems - High Power Laboratory - Suspended

In December 2018, Norte Energia entered into a collaborative partnership with the National Service of Industrial Training (SENAI) to contribute funds to a project entitled "DEPLOYMENT OF THE INSTITUTE OF INNOVATION IN ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS – HIGH POWER LABORATORY" in Itajubá (MG). The High Power Laboratory will perform tests conducted on few structures worldwide. The “R&D Center” will be a pioneer in Latin America.

Objective: 
Mutual cooperation for the development of the Technological Research and Development Project for "Construction of the High Power Laboratory for the development of Technologies for High Power Equipment – TEAP", as authorized by ANEEL Dispatch No. 1.145, dated 05/22/2018. 

Product that would be produced:High Power Laboratory for the development of Technologies for High Power Equipment. 
Planned Investment (cooperative entities): ANEEL authorized the application of funds from ANEEL's R&D Program in the construction of the High Power Laboratory, up to the limit of R$ 152,755,050.00 (ANEEL Dispatch No. 1.145, dated 05/22/2018), for which agreements have already been signed in the following amounts: R$4,000,000.00 under the responsibility of Norte Energia, R$4,800,000.00 under the responsibility of Elektro Redes and R$190,000.00 under the responsibility of Potiguar Sul.
