In November 2019, Norte Energia began the strategic "ELECTRIC MOBILITY" project for the purpose of developing an integrated management system for multiple modes.

Objectives:
The project foresees the development of a Multimodal Smart System in the Amazon formed by the electric bus and electric boat modes of transportation, a support infrastructure including photovoltaic generation, energy storage, electricity stations, wireless communication system, cloud data storage/processing and a smart management system to serve, in a pilot project, the population of the Guamá University Campus of the Federal University of Pará, as well as the surrounding riparian population.
Description: develop an integrated management system for multiple modes of transportation, such as boats and electric buses, and support the implementation of business models.
Product to be produced: Smart Transportation System – STI, consisting of the electric bus and electric-photovoltaic boat modes of transportation; supporting infrastructure consisting of: photovoltaic generation; energy storage; electricity stations; wireless communication system; cloud data storage and processing; and a smart management system to serve, in a pilot project, the population of the Guamá University Campus of the Federal University of Pará, as well as the surrounding riparian population.
Estimated Investment: R$ 11,868,260.00, wherein R$ 1,699,334.48 refers to counterparty investments.
